Goldens Are Family

Golden Retrievers are known as 'family' dogs because they are great around children and they are very friendly towards humans in general. But that's not the only reason Goldens are associated with the word family. Ask anyone who shares life with a Golden Retriever and they'll tell you they ARE family. That's important to think about when deciding whether to bring home a new puppy.

Dogs, especially Goldens, thrive on several hours of exercise and companionship every day, and pooches who are constantly left alone can develop behavioral problems. If your work demands that you travel often, or if you're out of the house most days and evenings, this may not be the right time to adopt. A new family member might not be your best choice. Think carefully before adopting!

A personal interview is required as part of the application process, as we will only adopt our puppies to loving, responsible humans.

Breeding Practices

Arizona Golden Retrievers is a Responsible Breeder and follows the 'Best Practices' of the ASPCA.
